FHIL DAN PASCASARJANA UHO PEDULI KESELAMATAN LINGKUNGAN

Merespon fenomena kerusakan hutan dan lingkungan di Indonesia, Fakultas Kehutanan dan Ilmu Lingkungan berkolaborasi dengan program Pascasarjana UHO memprakarsai kegiatan bedah buku “Dibalik Krisis Ekosistem” yang ditulis oleh Prof. Dr. Ir. Hariadi Kartodihardjo,MS. Bedah buku yang berlangsung di Aula Pascasarjana UHO pada Sabtu 10/3 tersebut menghadirkan langsung sang penulis serta 200 orangmahasiswa FHIL UHO, mahasiswa S2 dan S3 lingkup UHO juga para undangan dari unsur akademisi, penggiat LSM, Pemda dan media massa.

Setelah diawali prolog acara oleh Dekan FHIL UHO, kegiatan bedah buku yang di moderatori oleh Safril Kasim, SP.MES membawa lima orang akademisi yang berperan sebagai pembedah. Diantaranya adalah Prof. Usman Rianse, MS., Dr. La Baco (Wakil Dekan II FHIL UHO), Dr. Sitti Marwah (Wakil Dekan III FHIL UHO), Prof. Weka Widayati (Wakil Rektor II UHO), dan DR. Analudin (Dekan FMIPA UHO).

Memulai reviewnya pada sesi pertama, Dr. La Baco menekankan pada cara berpikir keliru dengan menganggap jasa ekosistem tidak penting. “Kekeliruan selama ini terletak pada cara berpikir yang menganggap bahwa ekosistem tidak bernilai ekonomi sehingga dalam pertimbangan pemanfaatan SDA tidak diikutsertakan”,terangnya. Selain itu, Wakil Dekan II FHIL UHO itu menyoroti instrumen kebijakan lingkungan dan pengelolaan lingkungan hidup yang kurang efektif mencegah kerusakan lingkungan dan perbaikan kebijakan agraria kehutanan. Dr. Sitti Marwah berkesempatan memberikan tanggapannya
pada bagian kedua dari buku ‘Dibalik Krisis Ekosistem” tentang Trans Disiplin Tata Kelola Lanskap. Menurutnya, secara implisit dibalik krisis ekosistem,
terdapat banyak faktor dan persoalan sosial ekonomi, lingkungan, hukum, tata kelola, moral dan politik yang terkait, baik sebagai penyebab maupun dari ekosistem yang semakin rusak.

Selanjutnya, pada sesi kedua, bagi Prof. Weka Widayati buku ini tidak hanya mengupas permasalahan krisis kehutanan dan lingkungan,
tetapi sekaligus memberikan solusi dan mengobati luka menganga yang menahun. Dalam kapasitasnya sebagai pakar kelembagaan, Prof. Weka mengatakan Indonesia mempromosikan sektor kehutanan sebagai model pembangunan ekonomi berkelanjutan yang adil dari sudut pandang green growth, akan tetapi mekanisme dan prosesnya dikacaukan oleh praktik koruptif dan bad governance. Menutup pemaparannya, Wakil Rektor II UHO tersebut mengapresiasi karya “Dibalik Krisis Ekosistem” yang secara redaksional telah disajikan dengan sangat teratur, gaya penulisan yang enak dibaca, mudah dipahami oleh pembaca dari kalangan ilmiah, birokrasi, maupun praktisi kehutanan dan lingkungan. Sejalan dengan itu, bertindak sebagai pembahas pendamping, Dr. Alaludin juga berkesempatan memberikan tanggapannya, baginya, diperlukan kejernihan hati dalam membaca buku ke-9 milik Prof. Hariadi Kartodihardjo. Sebab jika tidak, akan terjadi erosi akal sehat. “Yang tadinya merupakan bahaya karena dianggap biasa saja maka akan menjadi kebiasaan”, terangnya.

Tak kalah dari beberapa pembedah yang telah lebih dulu menyampaikan tanggapannya, Prof. Usman Rianse tampil tegas dan berani. Ia mencoba mengkritisi beberapa hal yang menurutnya penting untuk ditulis dalam karya “Dibalik Krisis Ekosistem”. Kompleksitas permasalahan lingkungan yang telah dikemukakan para pembedah yang mendahuluinya memantik nalar salah satu guru besar UHO ini untuk fokus menelaah beberapa hal, diantaranya mengenai tata kelola yang buruk, masalah pola pikir, fenomena state capture (penyanderaan negara), fungsi publik vs fungsi ekonomi, dan jasa-jasa lingkungan.

Menurut hemat mantan rektor UHO dua periode tersebut, revolusi mental dalam pengelolaan kehutanan dan lingkungan hidup tidak identik dengan legalitas formal yang dibuat oleh negara dalam pengelolaan hutan. Justru lebih pada penyadaran diluar sistem ekosistem itu sendiri, tegasnya.

Diakhir kegiatan, sang penulis, Prof. Hariadi Kartodihardjo juga berkesempatan menyampaikan pandangannya guna menambahkan beberapa hal yang menjadi penjelas sekaligus latar belakang bagaimana bukunya disusun. Ia melihat perusakan ekosistem bukan kerusakan fisik tapi justru kerusakan pikiran. Sedangkan dari pihak inisiator, Agus Setiawan, S.Hut, M.Hut selaku sekretaris panitia menuturkan “dari kegiatan bedah buku ini, kami mencoba menarik kesimpulan kira-kira apa yang menjadikan hutan dan lingkungan mengalami kerusakan”. Dinilainya, kerusakan yang masif terjadi diakibatkan oleh persoalan kebijakan dibidang kehutanan dan lingkungan hidup. “Ada beberapa dari produk kebijakan yang mengalami overlap, tidak bisa diimplementasikan, koordinasi berbagai pihak tidak jalan. Semua hal tersebut menjadikan ekosistem tidak lepas dari kerusakan”, urainya.

Kuliah umum dan bedah buku itu berjalan sangat dinamis dengan diselingi penyerahan cenderamata kepada para pembedah oleh Direktur Pascasarjana UHO dan photo session. Menariknya, mengantarai tiap sesi kegiatan, panitia penyelenggara mewarnai kegiatan bedah buku dengan art performance melalui aksi musikalisasi puisi,tari dan teatrikal yang dipersembahkan oleh mahasiswa dan mahasiswi FHIL UHO yang tergabung dalam unit kegiatan Forum Seni Kehutanan dan Ilmu Lingkungan (Faskil). Hiburan tersebut kembali membangkitkan semangat peserta untuk lanjut pada sesi-sesi selanjutnya. (agr)
